1st Block -- Finished chapter 32.2 Interest and payment problems. Writing assignment: Explain how credit work. Watched DVD "Credit Cards: Living with Plastic" Marketing Work students wrote journal for week of Feb 1 to Feb 8. Due Date: Feb 9

2nd Block -- Went over 3 marketing concept: Marketing concept; Marketing Mix and Product Positioning.

Tuesday, February 8

1st Block -- Went over chapter 32.2 PowerPoint on Credit. Assignment: Interest problems

2nd Block -- Went over chapter 19.2 PowerPoint on Media Costs. Assignment: CPM and Cost Per Ad problems

Distribution Planning

1st & 3rd Block -- math warm-up and article summary. Used responders to review chapters 1 & 2 for the semester exam. Went over chapter 21.2 PowerPoint and completed a graphic organizer.

Tuesday, January 4

1st & 3rd Block -- math warm-up only. Watched video tracking path of a coca bean. Went over chapter 21.1 and completed a "Channel of Distribution" graphic for consumer and industrial markets. Acted out several channels of distribution for a small apple farmer. Attempted to review chapter 1 & 2 for the semester exam with many technical problems.

Letter of Application

1st & 3rd -- Math warm-up and article summary. Finished going over chapter 38.2. Gave back rough drafts of resume with comments. Gave out samples of letters of application. Assignment #1) Write a rough draft of a letter of application to go with your resume. We will type the resume and letter of application in the computer lab on Friday, Jan 7. Gave out time sheets for this week.
